Funi is the Tesla farting unicorn, preserved onchain, generated by trade, and owned by whoever holds it.
Tom Edwards, a potter in Colorado, made a mug with a cartoon of a unicorn farting electricity straight into an electric car. The line on the back read: electric cars are good for the environment because electricity comes from magic. It was a small joke about where the power really comes from, and it sold quietly for years.
In February 2017 Elon Musk posted a photo of the mug and called it maybe his favorite mug ever. Sales jumped almost overnight. About a month later Tesla used a redrawn version of the unicorn to show off its new Sketchpad feature, and it later appeared as an icon in the cars and in a Christmas message to owners. Nobody asked Tom first.
In May 2018 Edwards had a lawyer send Tesla a polite letter asking to talk it over, and got no reply. So in June his daughter took the story public on Twitter and it went viral. Within weeks Musk and the potter settled out of court, the air was cleared, and the unicorn stayed in the cars. By then the doodle had quietly become a piece of internet folk art.

The trade itself becomes the mechanism.
The goal is simple: every pixel of every unicorn will live in contract storage. The palette, the traits, the full SVG. No IPFS, no API, nothing rendered on some server. If Ethereum lives, the unicorns live. If we vanish tomorrow, your unicorn stays right where it is.
